I live happy because I’m blessed. As I fully obey God the Bible says these blessing overtake me (Deuteronomy 28). What was true for ancient Israel is true for a child of the King. In Christ all God’s promises are yes and amen.
My children and my crops will be blessed. The offspring of my herds and flocks will be blessed. My fruit baskets and breadboards will be blessed. Wherever I go and whatever I do, I will be blessed.
The Lord will conquer my enemies when they attack me. They will attack me from one direction, but they will scatter from me in seven!
The Lord will guarantee a blessing on everything I do and will fill my storehouses with grain. The Lord my God will bless me in the land he is giving me.
I live happy because I am blessed. It fills the rhythms of my life. Because I’m blessed I bless others and invite them into my rhythms. I remain a blessing to them because I remain in the rhythms of my Father. This makes me truly happy.
1. How has God blessed me in my life?
2. Where have I seen His blessing lately?
3. What role does gratitude have in me living happy?
